Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actress singer and former model. Her most well-known work is her performance in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. Apollonia released her first album in 1988, however it was a fairly pedestrian mix of dance and R&B music that failed to draw attention from the public. The album was quickly wiped from view. Apollonia continued to act (if somewhat unnoticed) during the subsequent decade. Her small TV roles small films as well as exercise videos kept her active.
