Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to explore her inner world through her cuisine. Food that she cooks is a source of curiosity that developed from stepping outside the suburbs of Long Island and into the multi-cultural scene of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and carnetas are, according to her, able to exist together on the exact identical menu. Her taste is constantly evolving. Every dish she serves is inspired by a distinct perspective for the future as well as reminiscing on the old. Inspired by her heritage as an Italian-American, Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. Lofaso's old-school Italian version is regarded as one of Los Angeles' most captivating dining establishments. Lofaso is described by many as a local favorite who consistently delivers food that's authentic, delicious and warm. Lofaso trained under famous chefs and learned the latest methods but she never unwilling to follow her gut instincts. She worked with a variety of stars and quickly rose up the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Lofaso found her place at Black Market, and through the alliances she made. Lofaso could finally enjoy the freedom of expression she had wanted. Black Market's intention is to not be constrained by any means. The course could begin with dill potatoes chips Shishito chilies, and move on to the Korean chicken dish, meatballs and wings. What anchors this bold variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso measures her success over the course of her career based on the innate ability she has to understand her audience and be authentic to who she is. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars demonstrated her capability to communicate herself outside the cooking environment. Since then she's maintained her work in front of cameras with judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge, as well as recurring appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges during her time in her school, the French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso says that her passion to cook is the main factor behind her success. She is always in the know by keeping a close eye on trends and fashion. She is transforming the design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso cares about remaining true to your values and your vision. In order to achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new business will give customized experience for customers.
