Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August, 1959, in La Jolla, California, the youngest of five children. Beverly Bushfield Her mother, worked as a housewife as Thad Harold Harden served employed in the military. The family was often moved. In the time they resided in Greece, she became interested in theater, and she attended Athens performances. Harden went on to study at American Universities across Europe but returned to the US in 1983, to complete her education at the University of Texas. She graduated with an MFA from NYU and began her career as an actor. Miller's Crossing was the Coen Brothers' cleverly satirical homage to the 1990 film about gangsters, Miller's Crossing. Although Harden appeared in movies from 1986 (in the lesser-known The Imagemaker), she played a seductive female lead in her first major role. Harden received good reviews for her sultry performance as Verna who was a seductive and trouble-making moll. Harden continued to work steadily as a support actor acting as Ava Gardner in Sinatra (92), the television biopic that portrayed Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
